The maintenance of fuel injectors mainly includes the following aspects:
Appearance inspection of fuel injector: Check for obvious damage to the fuel injector housing, severe carbon buildup on the fuel injector nozzle, and clogged filter screen.
Resistance check of fuel injector: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the two terminals of the fuel injector to determine if there is a short circuit, open circuit, or grounding phenomenon in the fuel injector coil
Sealing inspection of fuel injector: Check whether there is any dripping phenomenon in the fuel injector within a certain period of time to determine whether the sealing performance of the fuel injector is good.
Atomization inspection of fuel injector: Observe whether the fuel sprayed by the injector is in a mist shape and whether the size of the atomized particles is uniform, in order to determine whether the atomization performance of the fuel injector is good.
Fuel injector injection quantity inspection: Conduct inspection on specialized equipment or simulate engine operating conditions through other methods to check whether the fuel injection quantity and uniformity of each injector comply with regulations.
Circuit inspection of fuel injector: Use an oscilloscope to measure the waveform of the control signal, and use a fault diagnosis instrument to read the pulse width of the control signal to determine whether there is a fault in the control circuit of the fuel injector
